Vintage Andean alpaca conopa made of hand carved stone, purchased in Pisac Peru. Conopas are typically carved from a fine dark brown grained stone, then polished with sand and water. They have a hole in the back called a qocha (lagoon) and are used for offerings during a haywarisqa ceremony. The qocha is typically filled with llama fat mixed with coca leaves.
