Shipibo Hand Embroidered Tapestry Altar Cloth Ayahuasca 27 x 22

Hand-embroidered altar cloth or wall hanging made by an artisan from the Shipibo-Conibo tribe in the Amazon Rainforest, Peru. Wool embroidery on cotton cloth. The black border and fine black "squiggles" are painted, the larger black pattern and all other patterns are embroidered.  Measures approx. 27" x 22". Shipibo embroidered designs are based on their Ayahuasca-inspired medicine songs--"Icaros." These are handmade and there may be small natural imperfections, this one has no significant flaws.
