Fired clay jaguar ceremonial whistle hand-crafted in the Sacred Valley, Peru. This is not antique, to the best of our knowledge it was recently made. Used in ceremonies to call to the four directions and to the Pachamama, we have also seen them used in sound healing techniques. We have also been told that small amounts of burning sage or resin incense can be dropped in the hole and then blown over a person as the whistle is blown, but we've never tried it (maybe not advisable, try it at your own risk!). This one is 2 3/4" tall and 3 3/4" wide at the widest point.
